Defensive Shotgun

Defensive Shotgun is a new Course for us as of 2016.  We developed this course a couple of years ago but our student base was not large enough or ready to move from Pistol Courses to the new level of Home and Personal Protection.

This Course is in 2 parts.  One portion of the course is classroom and the other range time.

• In the classroom portion we go over history of the shotgun, types, calibers, ammunition, accessories and firearm safety.
• In the second portion of the course we go to the range for drills and tactical training.

Both of these aspects are essential and we will go into great detail.

Several things are required so please take the time to purchase and make sure you have these items with you for the course.

• Ear and eye protection
• Preferably a Tactical shotgun-short barrel with a side saddle for extra rounds.  Pump or Semi is fine
• Sling
• Dummy Rounds-(4-8)
• Approx. 100 rounds of ammo. 30 rounds of slugs, the rest can be a combination of type of buckshot/birdshot.

As per any of our live fire courses your firearms must be unloaded prior to the course and we will be checking to make sure the firearm is safe and clear.
